between two worlds

a chamber opera in three acts about the Jewish community in Berlin in the 1930s, Rachel Feldberg's libretto is inspired by the lives of those who were there. The Landau Papers follows the lives of two women; one a Jew, one not, in Berlin between 1933 and 1939. First performed in March 2001 at Bolton Abbey Railway Station, with two subsequent performances at Leeds City Art Gallery in June 2001.
